Limited consumer insights and reporting functionality from current CRM – Aptos Concerned with the functionality and ease-of-use of their current CRM – Aptos – Scrubs & Beyond needed a robust platform that would provide their Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams with 360-degree customer views populated with real-time data and reporting functionality. To support Scrubs & Beyond’s continued digital transformation strategy, their internal IT team recognized the need for a one-stop integration solution that would enable seamless real-time data migration from Aptos to Salesforce.

The Solution

Integrated Systems using Anypoint Platform™ Constrained with siloed data in Aptos and facing the challenge of how best to migrate consumer details to Salesforce without significant downtime, Scrubs & Beyond sought out support from MuleSoft’s leading Premier Partner, Apisero.

 

Focusing on the retailer’s long-term value, Apisero worked to develop reusable platform APIs that would enable the organization to efficiently generate, sync, and store data from Aptos into Salesforce. Using pre-built connectors provided by MuleSoft, the Apisero team also designed an integration with AWS S3 and AWS SNS that allows the Scrubs & Beyond team to access critical consumer and transaction records and be alerted (via email) when files have successfully migrated or if an error is flagged after each data transfer.

 

To avoid creating multiple connections to Salesforce, the team worked to combine batch processing with the Salesforce Bulk API providing functionality such as Bulk Upsert and Bulk Create and delivering significantly faster data synchronization. A scheduler-based MuleSoft process flow was added to trigger data synchronization at specific and configured hourly intervals, allowing Scrubs & Beyond’s team quicker access to essential consumer data.

The Results

Working hand-in-hand with the Apisero team, Scrubs & Beyond has successfully integrated their systems from Aptos to Salesforce, syncing critical consumer transaction data and enabling their team to carefully phase out Aptos and into the customer-centric Salesforce CRM.

 

The robust and real-time data provided by Salesforce and Anypoint Platform™ will enable Scrubs & Beyond Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to capture unique consumer insights on items such as preferred brand, color, collection style, and loyalty point information that the company can drill down and analyze to further develop their brand’s unique retail experience.
