Introduction
In this blog, we will explore Page Variation and Audience Assignment, examining how they can enhance your customer engagement strategy. Using a practical example, we will guide you through the implementation steps. Let’s dive in!
Page Variation: It allows creating multiple variations of a page to specific customer segments.
Audience Assignment: It directs users to specific component or page variation based on predefined criteria.
Example: Experience site Home page aims to offer personalized greetings for Indian customers.
Setup Page Variations
Step 1: Navigate to the Experience Builder workspace.

Step 2: Select the Pages and click on Home Page.

Step 3: Update Headline component Title to “Welcome to The Flower Boutique!” and Banner Text to “We are your one-stop destination for all your floral needs”.

Step 4: Navigate to Home Page Variation by clicking on Home page properties as highlighted below.

Step 5: Create a Page Variation for India by duplicating “Home Page” and rename it to India – Home Page.

Step 6: Navigate to “India – Home Page” variation and update Headline component Title to “Namaste! Welcome to The Flower Boutique, India!” and the Banner Text to “We are your one-stop destination for all your floral needs”.

Set Up Audience Assignment Rules
Step 1: Create audience by opening Home page properties and then click on Manage Audiences.
Step 2: Create new audience as an Indian Users where user contact mailing country equals India or IN.

Step 3: Assign audience as an Indian users to India – Home Page.

Finally Publish the site.
Result
1. Users whose contact mailing country is equals to India is shown below page variation.

2. Users whose contact mailing country not equals to India is shown below page variation.
